Bowers & Wilkins are known for manufacturing the world’s finest audio equipment.


‘Field Experiment’ is a digital campaign and series of films developed and commissioned through the agency Mc&T. Each film will explore what is possible with audiophile quality sound across a range of products and numerous environments.


The first episode, recorded on location at Stone Corner Farm, Kent, examines how bees communicate and uses a variety of methods in order to capture the most accurate recording of the hive, which is then played back via the Bowers & Wilkins T7 device.


The T7 is the first Bluetooth speaker from Bowers & Wilkins, designed to be carried on the go and to deliver rich portable sound, wherever it is taken.


Furthermore the honeycomb Matrix technology lends the speaker a distinctive and elegant aesthetic, which made it perfect for ‘Field Experiment #1: Bees’.


Audio recordings were captured by Sam Nightingale of Organic Sounds, who also features in the film.
